Staco achieves VCDO SDG Pioneer Status – What does this mean?

We are proud to announce that Staco has recently achieved the VCDO SDG Pioneer status, marking a significant milestone in our journey toward sustainable business practices.

As part of the Roto Group, we have long been committed to sustainability, supported by the Voka Charter for Sustainable Business (VCDO).

This certification further reinforces our dedication to embedding sustainable practices into our operations and contributing to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The VCDO program provides companies with a structured approach to integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria into their strategies.

This status comes with an internationally recognized certificate from UNITAR (the United Nations Institute for Training and Research), giving our customers tangible proof of our commitment and helping to prevent greenwashing.

Achieving Pioneer status means we have completed at least 10 successful sustainability actions across four of the five 'P's – People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership, and Peace – including actions within our core business.

Currently, we are working on a transition project aimed at making a lasting impact on the sustainability of our processes. More on this initiative will follow soon. With these efforts, we underline our ambition to remain a sustainable, future-proof business, and potentially advance to SDG Champion status. This is the penultimate phase before reaching SDG Ambassador, where our focus will shift to due diligence and human rights initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, developing codes of conduct, climate actions, and reporting on sustainability efforts.
